CT Scan
CT Scan
(The first device in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)
A computerized tomography (CT) scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles around the body and uses computer processing to create cross-sectional images (slices) of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside the body. A CT scan provides more detailed information than a plain X-ray.
The CT scan has many important uses, mainly the diagnosis of spinal and brain injuries, and examinations of tumors and their spread in pets. It is especially suitable for quickly examining our pet friend who may have internal injuries as a result of car accidents or other types of physical injuries. A CT scan can be used to closely view all parts of the body and can also be used to diagnose disease or injury, and also to plan medical, surgical or radiation treatment.
